This episodes confirms what I’ve always known
Gym guys are creepy, especially when they’re under mind control.

“Energy sucking machine”
The bioengineering student in me is crying inside right now.
I know I have to suspend a ridiculous amount of disbelief for this show, but still! HOW ARE THEY SUCKING THE ENERGY! HOW DOES IT WORK!

Luna is yelling at Usagi because she’s obsessed with dieting instead of fighting the Negaverse. I can’t help but feel like that’s a meta commentary for the episode….
At least it means we’re finally getting back to fighting the Negaverse.

Usagi and I have the same approach to food:
Make a kid cry because you want to steal his donuts.

Nothing called relaxation pods can be good!
Especially if it involves being stuck in a tank!
Have these girls never watched an alien abduction movie? I haven’t, but I imagine they involve tanks that have people stuck in them.

*snort*
I don’t know about you all, but when I work out, I like to wear baggy white sweatshirts and hi-cut black panties.
They should totally realize how sketch this gym is by the uniform.

So based on the 3 second preview for this episode, I guess tonight’s episode is about how the pressure to be skinny is bad.
Look, I love Sailor Moon, but I’m not sure how watching Usagi-a very skinny girl-discover that loving your body is awesome will help girls who aren’t skinny.
I will give this a chance though. I mean, at the very least they’re making fun of our culture’s obsession with dieting and fitness.
I also love this girl whose mom says that 14 year olds shouldn’t diet.

If I were to change my username with my choice of drink for the night, tonight would be “sailor IPA and wine.”
